The Embarrassing State Of Payday 3 - Angry Rant

21 out of 10 on Metacritic, 33 on Steam with a multi-negative rating, and 2 out of 5 stars on Xbox One. The [__] happened well. I'll tell you what happened. What happened was one of the absolute biggest howlers in article game history. One of if not the worst launch of a article game we've seen in forever I can't remember the last time we've had a launch this, poor, now here's the funny thing although this game came out early for certain people who bought the Premium Edition and pre-ordered it I personally because I was so focused on Mortal Kombat 1 and I was so busy not just grinding Invasion but also doing the article I, simply didn't have time to deal with payday 3's Early Access nor spend another 100 bucks on premium, editions so I decided you know what since I'm busy anyways let's, just wait let's just relax and let's just wait for the standard edition to come out so, we can just try the game out see if it fits me see if I like it see if it's something I'm interested in covering on the channel right it, was one of those casual things where I'm just like let's just see what happens now.

Here's the thing: I bought the game right; it came around six o'clock for me; it took about 45 minutes to install it; and of course, as soon as I got in it pretty much immediately it turned out you have to make a nebula account in, order to play it now this account has to be created in a third party website broke and as you can imagine being launch day there was a lot of [ __ ] people trying to do it so as you can imagine the website broke and nobody was able to get anything done.

It was broken for maybe an hour and a half to two hours straight, though. I did get lucky, and I think that in one hour 30 I was able to somehow, after just trying non-stop, be able to create that account, and I was able to somewhat get into the game then. I would have quite a bit of fun. I played the game for about 30 minutes, just trying to figure it out, trying to see different things, and trying to learn it a little bit.

You know, no big deal, necessarily. After that, there were 18 hours straight of server breakage, where nobody, from regular players who bought the standard all the way to premium editions with Early Access collectors, on any platform was able to get their hands on payday 3; nobody could play the game; the servers needed for the matchmaking were completely collapsed, broken, and impossible to get a hold of.

For hours straight, you were not able to play the game right after it came out. It must be a brand new record for the lowest amount of time spent not being able to play a article game after its release. And here's the funny thing about it: a lot of people will say it's not the developer's fault; the developers should not be blamed for this because, guess what?

Maybe they didn't want to do it live; they were forced into it. Well, guess what? [__] Just because you were forced to do something you didn't want does not give you the excuse to do a horrible, shitty job that results in complete failure. Just because you don't want to build a bridge does not mean that it's okay to create one that is awful and that's going to collapse, killing a bunch of people.

If you don't want to do something, either have the balls to say no. I'm not going to do this, or do it properly because the people who got punished are the people who took their wallet, took the money, and paid for that game. It is your customers who got [__] in the ass on launch day, so I don't want to hear any excuses defending the developers about how none of this is their fault.

Also read:

No, it's their fault; they should have been the ones to test this. Before it came out properly, they should have been the ones to separate solo players from regular matchmaking. Co-op, Players These are two completely different things. The [__] Would you have to sit and wait in a matchmaking session if all you want to do is play by yourself?

doesn't make any sense. Think about it. It's like having a problem because you have so much traffic and you're like, I know what we're going to do. We're going to get everybody to travel by themselves, and everybody's going to travel by bus. That's what we're going to do. By the way, just buy themselves a bus.

Of course, there's going to be traffic. Idiot how the [__] Did you not figure this out? Why were you forcing everybody to match? majority of people The vast majority, over 80 percent of players, wanted to play the game by themselves anyway, because chances are most of them were pretty new or just wanted to try different levels and different things.

Most players want to play on their own anyway. The vast majority of players, I guarantee, would have been fine playing solo. This issue is not fixed. Even today, this issue is not fixed. I was planning to head into Payday 3 to have a little bit of gameplay before I started recording. Well, the problem is, guess what?

state of payday3

Matchmaking is broken again, and it's been like four days now. Matchmaking is always broken pretty much. The only time matchmaking is not broken is when most people are sleeping. People cannot solve the issue. It's very obvious if, four days in a row, you have the same problem and you cannot fix it.

It's very clear you simply aren't good enough to fix it, and what that means is that this problem will continue on and on and on, probably for weeks or even months, until they finally figure out how to strengthen Twitter. The servers or just come up with a single-player variation where you can just play by yourself, but make no mistake about it about who's to blame here; it's the people who created the game; it's the developers.

I don't want to hear any [__] because I know a bunch of YouTubers are friends with them, and they're like, well, don't blame the developers; it's not their fault they didn't want to do this well. I don't give a [__]. We're the ones getting [__] and they're the ones who should have done it properly: either say no, have the boss say no, or [__].

Do it properly, no, bush [__] like this one where it's like neither here nor there, get y[__] done, man, just because you're [__] Being mad at your job does not allow you to do such a sh*t job. If you go to a [__] Subway or a restaurant and you pay for a meal, you expect to receive that meal and a good meal as well.

It's not okay for the [__] waiter to spit in your meal or throw a cockroach in there just because he's mad at the [__] job he's doing. That's not okay, customer. Support should be better than this. This is an embarrassment. Of a launch, that's the bottom line, and the worst part about it is that, in my personal opinion, the game isn't horrible.
